Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures, including angioplasty, stenting, and coronary interventions.
- Preparing the cath lab and necessary equipment for procedures.
- Assisting with patient positioning and monitoring during procedures.
- Operating and maintaining cath lab equipment.
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout procedures.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to evaluate diagnostic results and assist with treatment planning.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Valid certification or license as a Cath Lab Technologist.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
- Proficient in assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures and interventional cardiology procedures.
- Knowledge of cath lab equipment and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
